Crown Infrastructure Delivery is assisting Te Tari Taiwhenua Department of Internal Affairs with alterations to the National Library.
These alterations will develop and enhance existing facilities into collaborative spaces to be shared with staff working in the new archival building and expand some existing commercial facilities. This work is expected to be completed by the end of 2028.
In 2024 CID assisted DIA with delivery of the seismically complex Enabling Structure in the National Library that receives the new two-level link bridge from the under-construction archival building.
CID provided Project Governance support, Project Management and Project Reporting to the Enabling Structure project, which was completed on time and on budget, with no impact to collections.
